Jude Care Ltd is dedicated to providing support and care for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) in the North West of the United Kingdom. We understand the unique challenges that these children face and are committed to ensuring their safety, well-being, and integration into the local community.
Housing Assistance: If the assessment indicates the need for independent or semi-independent accommodation, our team assists in providing these services.
Care Plans: For those requiring to be Looked After, we ensure that Care Plans, Health Care Plans, Personal Education Plans, and Placement Plans are duly completed.
Accommodation Options: We prioritize the best interests of the child. Children aged 16 and 17 are provided accommodation according to their needs, in our supportive accommodations.
Medical Procedures: We act in the best interest of the child, ensuring that if invasive procedures are required, the appropriate legal channels are followed.
Financial Assistance: All eligible unaccompanied young asylum-seekers can access financial assistance, following authorization from the Accommodation and Resource Panel. Travel cards or warrants are also provided for necessary appointments at the Home Office.
Guidance and Accompaniment: We offer remote advice and information, help in understanding the asylum process, and accompany young individuals to asylum interviews, immigration tribunal, and appeal hearings. We assist in myriad issues like school enrollments, health challenges, and more.
